Skating the city of Marrakech surfaced surrounding gardens none of us knew existed amidst the desert climate. The Menara Gardens inspired Revivalist Jamie Thomas’ new, sustainably constructed boardshort, the Menara Flora. Named after the verdant public garden-orchard in Marrakech, Morocco, the Menara gardens date back to the 12th Century Almohad Caliphate. A colorful oasis and respite from the barren landscapes outside the city, we picked a few flowers from the garden and slapped them on the Chiller Menara.
